Handcrafted hardware company Art & Forge introduces its first Forged By capsule collection, partnering with Atlanta-based interior designer Jared Hughes to debut European antique-inspired knobs in two styles — Devonshire and Argyle.
The introduction of Forged By provides the brand and designers with small-scale product development opportunities to bring to life designers’ visions for hard-to-find hardware styles that would otherwise require customization.
The knobs reflect Hughes’s eye for proportion and sense of story. Rooted in his family’s heritage in Barra, Scotland, they reimagine classical ornament with a personal, modern twist. Their fluted, radiating forms are sculptural yet restrained, catching light in subtle shifts across their polished surface. Cast in 100% solid brass and finished by hand, the Art & Forge Jared Hughes Forged By capsule collection carries the permanence of craft while offering a refined accent for contemporary interiors.
The Argyle Oblong Spiral Knob comes in one size at 1.5 inches, and the Devonshire Round Spiral Knob comes in two sizes: 1.33 and 1.15 inches. Both knobs are offered in four finishes — unlacquered brass, polished brass, polished nickel and burnished brass.
