The design of Scaletta is a far cry from traditional heated towel rails. The ladder is an immediate object, which needs no explanations to be understood because it is part of everyone’s imagination. Crafted from aluminum and powered by electricity, Scaletta is a cornerstone of the Plug&Play collection.
With this series, Tubes introduces an unprecedented concept of personal warmth: these heating elements, liberated from the constraints of fixed installation, transcend the static nature of architecture to embrace the human dimension, a dimension defined by constant movement and evolution. Scaletta is instinctively experienced as an accent piece that heats, predominantly in the bathroom and suitable for use year-round.
Since it does not require installation, it can be moved to another room in the home if necessary and move from home to home. It holds UL safety certification for North America.
Scaletta is offered in various standard colors and is available in the 140 hues of the Tubes color chart upon request. It is available in two sizes — 73.6 inches and 54.7 inches.
